PwC Cyprus honours ACA, ACCA and Academic Excellence award recipients

PwC Cyprus held an ACA, ACCA and Academic Excellence Award Ceremony at the PwC’s Experience Center, recognising the outstanding academic achievements of its people in professional and university examinations.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Philippos Soseilos, CEO of PwC Cyprus, Anna Loizou, Partner and Chief People Officer, and Costas Seraphim, Professional Qualifications Lead and Consultant, PwC Academy.

The awardees achieved important distinctions both in Cyprus and internationally, further highlighting the strong culture of learning, performance and talent development within PwC Cyprus.

The award recipients were recognised for achieving 90% or above in their ACA examinations and included:

  • Christos Anastasiou – Excellent performance in the Corporate Reporting examination
  • Eleni Artemi – Excellent performance in the Sustainability and Ethics examination and Business Insight & Performance examination
  • Eva Assiotou – Excellent performance in the Financial Accounting and Reporting examination and Tax Compliance examination
  • Mert Bozdagli – Excellent performance in the Sustainability and Ethics examination
  • Georgios Chadjipanagiotou – Excellent performance in the Accounting Fundamentals examination and Sustainability and Ethics examination
  • Matteus Katsouris – Excellent performance in the Accounting Fundamentals examination
  • Konstantinos Koupepas – Excellent performance in the Accounting Fundamentals, Sustainability and Ethics, Tax Fundamentals and Business Insight and Performance examinations
  • Silia Mouskou – Excellent performance in the Sustainability and Ethics examination
  • Kyriacos Nicolaou – Excellent performance in the Sustainability and Ethics examination
  • Marios Telemachou – Excellent performance in the Sustainability and Ethics examination
  • Moses Joseph – Excellent performance in the Assurance Risk Fundamentals examination

Special recognition was also given to ACCAs for their outstanding international and national distinctions:

  • Yuliana Gudovich
    • 1st place in Cyprus and 7th worldwide in Advanced Performance Management (APM), June 2025 sitting
    • 1st place in Cyprus and 7th worldwide in Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA), June 2025 sitting
    • 1st place in Cyprus and 26th worldwide in Strategic Business Leader (SBL), September 2025 sitting
    • Ranked 1st Top Affiliate in Cyprus and 18th worldwide
  • Alex Balzin
    • 1st place in Cyprus and 27th worldwide in Advanced Financial Management (AFM), September 2025 sitting
    • Ranked 2nd Top Affiliate in Cyprus and 94th worldwide
  • Vasilis Papavasileiou
    • 1st place in Cyprus and 14th worldwide in Audit & Assurance (AA), September 2025 sitting

In addition, Makis Andreou received the Academic Excellence Award for his outstanding academic achievement as the Top Student of the Department of Economics and Finance at the European University Cyprus.
