Fidias Panayiotou, who throughout the election campaign systematically avoided making his intentions known, has announced his decision to retain his seat in the European Parliament in a letter to the Ministry of Interior.
In his letter to the Ministry of the Interior, Fidias Panayiotou, shortly before the announcement of the 56 MPs, informed that he would decide to remain in the European Parliament, a decision that was made based on the percentage he received, as he himself stated during the pre-election period.
As a result, his place on the seats of Amesi Dimokratia Kyprou (Direct Democracy) in Nicosia is now occupied by Yiannis Laouris, who had received 1,700 votes.
