More specefically, speaking from Yeroskipou, Christodoulides said, "Today's electoral process is important and concerns us all. It concerns the legislative power of our country and as the executive power we want a Parliament to cooperate excellently for the good of our country, for the sake of the citizens. I call on the people to participate in this process. We have made some changes as an executive process for them to participate and the process is important. Abstention is not an option. I am not anxious about the result, I will respect it and I will cooperate with the Parliament for the benefit of the Cypriot people. What is important is to think about how our country will move forward."

Also, respoding to a question on toxicity, Christodoulides said, "It would be clearly better to have a better exchange of views, to have a dialogue on issues that concern society regarding our national issue for which developments are coming. We are ready to cooperate on the basis of our ideological approach and in no case on the basis of transaction."
