Road freight transport in Cyprus recorded an increase during the fourth quarter of 2025 and across the full year, according to the latest data released by CySTAT.
During the period October–December 2025, the total weight of goods transported within Cyprus rose by 19.4% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 10,920.1 thousand tonnes from 9,145.6 thousand tonnes. At the same time, freight transport to and from Cyprus also increased by 14.2%, reaching 11.0 thousand tonnes.
On an annual basis, for the period January–December 2025, transport within Cyprus increased by 4.8%, while freight transport to and from the country recorded a stronger rise of 10.0%.
