Ηealth Minister Neophytos Charalambides is travelling to Geneva to participate in the Commonwealth Health Coordination Forum tomorrow as well and the 79th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO), between 18-23 May.
A press release by the Ministry says that Charalambides will address the Plenary on behalf of the 27 EU Member States, as Cyprus is currently holding the Presidency of the EU Council and will present the EU joint statement.
During his stay in Geneva, the Minister will participate in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings that will take place in on the sidelines of the WHO World Health Assembly, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation on critical public health issues.
