TechIsland® and Women in Tech® Cyprus to Host “STEM for All” Stage at The Doers Summit 2026

TechIsland®, in collaboration with Women in Tech® Cyprus, will curate the Pentagon Stage at The Doers Summit 2026 on 21 May 2026 at the Kolla Culture Factory in Limassol, presenting a full-day programme under the theme STEM for All.

The programme will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and fireside chats with speakers from Cyprus and abroad, focusing on a central idea: as artificial intelligence advances, technology is no longer limited to specialists - it is shaping the daily lives, work, and futures of people across every sector and background.

STEM for All reflects this shift, recognizing that science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are not only for engineers or IT professionals, but form the foundation of how modern societies function. The discussions will explore how individuals can better understand, use, and benefit from AI and emerging technologies, and what changes are needed in skills, education, and access to ensure that no one is left behind.

At its core, the programme raises a broader question: as technology becomes more capable, are people expanding their potential alongside it, or becoming passive within the systems they create? STEM for All invites a conversation on what it means to adapt, grow, and remain human in a rapidly evolving world.

Speakers include the Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Skourides, the Commissioner of Gender Equality Josie Christodoulou, directors from the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, as well as leaders from global companies such as Google, Tenstorrent, inDrive, and TheSoul Group.

The agenda is structured around key themes addressing some of today’s most pressing questions, including the balance between regulation and innovation, the impact of artificial intelligence on skills and the workforce, and the role of institutions and education in shaping a more inclusive technological future.

Tanya Romanyukha, General Manager of TechIsland® and Director of Women in Tech® Cyprus, commented: “Through STEM for All, we are bringing a focused, full-day programme to The Doers Summit that reflects how deeply technology now intersects with every aspect of society. This is not only about those working in tech, but about ensuring that individuals across all backgrounds have the awareness, skills, and opportunities to engage with and benefit from this transformation. Our goal is to create a space for meaningful dialogue on how we build a more inclusive and future-ready ecosystem.”
