InterMaritime Shipmanagement proudly hosted its Annual Charity Mini Football Tournament at the YS Multi Stadium, bringing together 20 teams from across the corporate community, predominantly from the shipping industry but also from other sectors, along with families and supporters, for a day dedicated to sport, community engagement, and charitable giving.
This year’s event supported two important organisations: the Theotokos Foundation ‘To ALMA’ Centre, a specialised child development programme providing early assessment, therapeutic intervention, and multidisciplinary support for children with developmental needs, and the Pancyprian Association of Single Parents & Friends, which offers social, emotional, and practical assistance to single-parent families across Cyprus. Both organisations play a key role in supporting vulnerable groups and strengthening community welfare.
The tournament commenced at 9am and ran throughout the day, featuring a full schedule of competitive matches across all participating teams, alongside a vibrant entertainment programme. Guests enjoyed children’s activities, live DJ sets, refreshments, and snacks, creating a lively and family-friendly atmosphere.
After an exciting series of matches, PwC Cyprus emerged as tournament winners, demonstrating strong teamwork and consistent performance throughout the competition. MIE secured the runner-up position following a strong showing in the final.
The event reflected InterMaritime Shipmanagement’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, successfully combining sport, engagement, and philanthropy into a meaningful initiative that continues to grow in impact each year.
