President Nikos Christodoulides is in Athens, for the opening of the University of Nicosia's branch campus there, in the presence of Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Upon his arrival at the University of Nicosia's Athens branch (UNIC Athens), located in the Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli, the President of the Republic was given a tour of the premises and then addressed the ceremony.
Also attending and delivering remarks at the ceremony will be Prime Minister Mitsotakis, according to a statement by the Presidency.
President Christodoulides is accompanied by Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, Deputy Government Spokesperson, Yiannis Antoniou, and government officials.
