A conference marking the 30-year anniversary of Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), is being held on Wednesday, 29 April.
According to CySEC, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will deliver the opening address, and the Chairman of CySEC, Dr George Theocharides will follow with a speech.
Members of the European Securities Markets Association (ESMA) and the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) will be among more than 150 guests at the event, and speakers will include the Chair of ESMA, Verena Ross, and the Chair of IOSCO, Jean Paul Servais, focusing on supervision, new investment products, and evolving of the markets.
Artificial intelligence expert and author Huy Nguyen Trieu will deliver the keynote speech on developments in AI, while other speakers include the Commissioner of the Italian regulator Commissione Nazionale per le Societa e la Borsa (CONSOB) Carlo Comporti, the Director General of the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) Claude Marx, and the Chair of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Dr. Vassiliki Lazarakou.
