The Chairman of Limassol Local Government Yiannis Tsouloftas has given assurances that, despite recent unrest in the region, the body can confirm that all port operations are continuing without disruption and the port is fully staffed and operable for all commercial and maritime activities.
In the video message below, Tsouloftas says, "In my capacity as the Chairman of Limassol Local Government, I would like to assure the international shipping community that the Port of Limassol is functioning as usual.
Despite recent unrest in the region, we confirm that all port operations are continuing without disruption and the port is fully staffed and operable, for all commercial and maritime activities.
European flight paths and maritime trade routes serving Cyprus continue to operate according to schedule.
We appreciate the continued support from our European Partners and remain committed to ensuring the safety and efficiency of maritime activities in Cyprus."
