The CIM Summit 2026 returns on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at the Bank of Cyprus Headquarters in Ayia Paraskevi, Nicosia and it is organized by CIM–Cyprus Business School.
The Summit brings together distinguished academics from leading European Business Schools and senior market leaders. As part of this year’s program, one of the highlights is the participation of Spencer Harrison, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD, one of the most internationally renowned institutions in the field of business administration.
In his presentation, Spencer Harrison will focus on how organisational culture, creativity, and team coordination connect with strategy and long-term success. Through research insights and practical examples, he will highlight how leaders can create environments where people collaborate effectively, innovate collectively, and develop a meaningful connection with their organisations.
His research focuses on three key dimensions: creation, which examines how managers and leaders cultivate collective creativity; coordination, which looks at how teams and networks function effectively to achieve optimal results; and connection, which explores how employees build meaningful and lasting relationships with their organisations.
His research has earned significant recognition within the academic community, including distinctions such as Finalist for the INFORMS Dissertation Award, Finalist for the Academy of Management Journal Best Paper of the Year Award, the Journal of Management Best Paper Award, and the Organizational Behavior Division Best Symposium Award. His work has been published in leading scholarly journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, and the Journal of Management.
He is the Division Chair of the Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division at the Academy of Management, co-founder of the Creativity Collaboratorium—a network of some of the world’s leading and most highly cited researchers in creativity—and serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Discoveries. He has also carried out research in collaboration with organizations such as Google, NASA, and Black Diamond.
With Spencer Harrison joining the programme, the CIM Summit further reinforces its international profile, offering the audience in Cyprus access to forward-thinking ideas and research that are shaping the future of organizations.
