The KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus organizes the “2026 KIOS Graduate Training School on AI”, as part of the European MSCA Doctoral Network LEMUR project, which provides innovative training and research to shape next-generation AI technologies.
The School will offer lectures in the field of Machine Learning and learning representations, as well as multi-disciplinary and complementary training on intellectual property rights and research proposal preparation.
The Graduate Training School will run for three days, from 3 to 5 March, at the University of Cyprus (Engineering Building 10, Amphitheater B102 'Elias Kyriakides').
This year’s speakers include Professors Gabriella Pasi (University of Milano-Bicocca), Ioannis Pitas (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo (Paderborn University), Constantine Dovrolis (Georgia Institute of Technology and Cyprus Institute), Sergios Theodoridis (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), Virginia Dignum (Umeå University), Theocharis Theocharides (University of Cyprus and KIOS Center of Excellence), as well as experts in innovation and intellectual property rights, Dr. Anastasia Constantinou (University of Cyprus) and Dr. Eugene Sweeney (KIOS Center of Excellence).

The Training School is open to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers from Cyprus and abroad, who wish to broaden and enrich their knowledge in these areas.
