President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides has said that the upward trajectory of the Cyprus economy is the result of the government's responsible economic policy, allowing for investments in improving the daily lives of citizens.
Commenting on the CySTAT's announcement about the GDP growth rate of the economy that stands at 4.5% for the 4th quarter of 2025, he said that it is the second highest in the EU and much higher than the European average.
This is a vote of confidence for the Cyprus economy and a result of our responsible economic policy, he stressed in a post on 'X'.
He noted that the steady upward trajectory of the Cyprus economy, allows us to invest in improving the daily lives of citizens, strengthening health, education, social welfare, and housing policy.
We will continue in the same responsible manner, he concluded.
