Eurobank assumed the role of Principal Employer in the MAP Fund, a multi-employer provident fund, as of 8 December 2025, reaffirming the bank's confidence in the Cypriot economy and its growth prospects.
This development represents a significant upgrade for the Fund and is expected to contribute substantially to the further strengthening of MAP’s corporate governance and investment process, while benefiting its members.
"Eurobank, as the largest financial institution in Cyprus and with long-standing experience in managing investment funds, will support MAP as a service provider, leveraging its know-how and resources in Wealth Management and occupational pension funds," a press release said. "Eurobank is committed to safeguarding the high quality of the Fund’s services and its smooth operation, while also enhancing its long-term growth potential."
It is noted that the current Principal Employer, AON Hewitt, remains alongside MAP as a founding and participating employer and continues to provide support services and risk management. In this way, the smooth continuation of the Fund’s operations and the high standard of service enjoyed by members to date are ensured. The change of Principal Employer does not bring any alteration to members’ rights, participation terms, or the Fund’s investment plans. There will be no changes to fees, account details, investment choices, access to the platform using existing login credentials, the online portal, the app, or contact numbers.
MAP’s Management Committee said it welcomes this strategic development, emphasising that Eurobank’s experience and resources add value to the Fund, strengthening its position as a benchmark in the Cypriot market for occupational pension benefits.
