Record participation for Cyprus at Robotex International 2025

The Cypriot delegation is preparing to depart for Tallinn, Estonia, where the Robotex International World Robotics Competition will take place on 5–6 December 2025.

Cyprus has been participating in this leading global event since 2017, but this year marks the largest Cypriot delegation to date.

A total of 302 participants – competitors, coaches, parents, companions and volunteers – will represent our country, including 12 organisations, 13 coaches and 95 competitors forming the core of the delegation.

Robotex International – A Global Event

This year marks the end of an era, as after 25 consecutive years in Estonia, Robotex International will begin rotating to a new host country every year. In 2026, the event will travel to South Korea for the first time.

Cyprus is also represented by members of the Organising and Scientific Committees of Robotex Cyprus, on behalf of the organiser, the Cyprus Computer Society.

"All competitors secured their place at Robotex International 2025 through their achievements at Robotex MRC Cyprus, held in June under the auspices of the President of the Republic. The awards were presented during an official ceremony in October at the Bank of Cyprus.

The national competition is organised annually by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) with the support of public and private sector organisations, serving as a vital platform for promoting innovation and technological education," the press release said.
