The Paralimni Marina project is entering the final stretch before being put into operation, according to PMV Maritime Holdings CEO Anthoulis Kountouris, who has told InBusinessNews that the port works were completed in early November and the next stage is the installation of the floating docks and marina services.
"The docks are being constructed in Italy and their gradual delivery is expected to begin soon, since they are large in volume and their transportation is particularly difficult," Kountouris pointed out and explained that, according to calculated estimations, it will take approximately six months to complete the work in question.
Delivery to catering companies in early 2026
The goal is to hand over the commercial units to the food service companies early next year, so that they can proceed with their layout and equipment.
At the same time, as the CEO of PMV Maritime Holdings notes, the building that will house government services as well as the fuelling station are complete and are expected to be delivered around the beginning of 2026.
At the same time, the residential units are in the phase of having their floors and frames installed, while construction of the last building of the development, which will house the project's hotel unit, has already begun.
A new chapter for the region
"The project is expected to add value to the region, with the upgraded services it will offer, with the ultimate goal of combating seasonality and attracting quality tourism, as well as the further development of nautical tourism," Anthoulis Kountouris emphasised.
Paralimni Marina will be an official entry point into the Republic of Cyprus, with the capacity to dock 300 pleasure boats. It is recalled that in the commercial part of the marina, there will be two cafes, four restaurants, a mini market and three shops.
