The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) and the Nicosia Bar Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 13 November, formally establishing for the first time their shared objective of promoting Legal Science and the legal profession, as well as the professional and educational development of students in the field of Legal Studies.
The cooperation framework was signed by the Rector of OUC, Professor Stavros Stavrou, and Stylianos Parparinos, member of the Nicosia Bar Association.
Also present at the meeting, held at OUC’s offices, were the Vice-Rector, Professor Vayos Liapis; Assistant Professor Chryshtia Papakleovoulou, who had been assigned responsibility for negotiating and coordinating between OUC and the Nicosia Bar Association for the signing of the Memorandum; and the Director of Administration and Finance, Christoforos Christodoulides.
