Green Dot Cyprus announces the inclusion of the Exapolis Cluster of Communities in the 'Door-to-Door' packaging collection program.
With the launch of the program on 17 November 2025, approximately 15,000 residents who permanently live in the communities of Kokkinotrimithia, Paliometocho, Agioi Trimithias, Mammari, Deneia, and Meniko will have the opportunity to incorporate packaging recycling into their daily routine.
The contract was signed on Friday, 18 July 2025, by Savvas Kondos, Operations Manager of Green Dot, and Christakis Peleties, President of the Cluster and Community Leader of Kokkinotrimithia, in the presence of Nikos Kotziapashis, Vice President of the Cluster and Community Leader of Mammari.
The agreement provides for the collection of recyclable household packaging waste PMD and Paper, on a weekly basis. PMD recyclable packaging should be placed in the special transparent bag, and paper in the brown bag, respectively. The bags should be placed the night before collection in a clearly visible spot in front of each residence.
Glass collection will take place through special green bell-shaped containers, which will be installed at easily accessible and central points within each community.
Green Dot Cyprus and the Council of the Exapolis Community Cluster invite residents to embrace this new initiative. Together, we can make our area cleaner, greener, and more sustainable for everyone!
