“Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center (HFC) has announced the launch of a strategic partnership with AEK Larnaca FC, marking a significant milestone in the joint effort to raise awareness, support, and promote the rights of children in Cyprus. This collaboration reflects a shared philosophy of creating safe, supportive, and empowering environments for all children, using football as a powerful platform for positive social change.
Through this strategic partnership, the work and mission of Hope For Children will be highlighted and promoted on a national level, while the organisation’s logo will proudly appear on the players’ jerseys during AEK’s European matches, symbolising their shared commitment to protecting children at an international level.
As part of this collaboration, Hope For Children and AEK Larnaca will implement joint awareness campaigns on issues such as child abuse and broader children’s rights topics. They will also co-organise fundraising activities to support HFC’s programs and services that directly benefit and protect children.
A key highlight of the partnership will be the celebration of World Children’s Day. The two organisations will co-host a special event for children on Saturday, 16 November, from 3pm to 5pm at the Old GSZ Stadium in Larnaca. The event will be dedicated to promoting children’s rights and will bring together children, families, and community stakeholders through creative and educational activities. The event will take place under the auspices of the Mayor of Larnaca, Andreas Vyras.
In addition, AEK Larnaca’s home match on 9 November will be officially dedicated to World Children’s Day. Before kick-off at the AEK ARENA, various activities will be held in collaboration with the AEK Kids Club, where representatives of Hope For Children will lead interactive and creative workshops for children, while parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the organisation’s services. Children from the AEK Kids Club will also prepare a special banner with a message against child abuse, which will be proudly displayed on the field during the match.
Through this strategic partnership, Hope For Children and AEK Larnaca reaffirm their commitment to creating a safer world for children and promoting respect, dignity, and equality for every child.
