Martin Brandenburger, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lidl Greece and Lidl Cyprus will hand over the presidency of the Board of Directors after four successful years, to Miltos Forozidis at the end of February 2026.
From 1 March, 2026, Brandenburger will take over the position of CEO of Lidl Italy and Lidl Malta.
Miltos Forozides, currently Chief Operations Officer of Lidl Greece and Lidl Cyprus, will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer, on a temporary basis effective 1 March 2026.
Forozides has been working at Lidl for 15 years and has held various management positions in Greece. He also has extensive international experience, including in the Management of Lidl Denmark and Lidl Germany.
