PSV Phoenix Holdings planning a new €10m private clinic in Nicosia

PSV Phoenix Holdings Ltd. is planning to construct a private day hospital in the Municipality of Strovolos.

The hospital development, which has secured the approval of the Environment Department, concerns the construction of a private clinic on plots that fall within the Municipality of Strovolos.

The area of ​​the proposed project will amount to 2,081 sq m for the clinic and 2,922 sq m for the parking areas.

Based on the environmental opinion report, the proposed development will include:

  • Basement -2: Mechanical rooms, warehouse, etc.
  • Basement -1: Parking, EAC Substation, etc.
  • Ground floor: Parking area, entrance area, rest areas, etc.
  • First floor: Operating rooms, washing areas, public waiting areas, etc.
  • Second floor: 20-bed unit
  • Third floor: Outpatient clinics, imaging laboratories
  • Fourth floor: Visitor waiting area, waiting areas, etc.

According to the environmental impact assessment study, the estimated cost of the project, which is expected to be implemented within three years from the start of work, amounts to €10 million.

The development will serve 20-30 visitors and accommodate 20 patients per day. The area where the proposed project will be located is adjacent to residential developments in all directions except the east. To the north of the project there is the 2nd Primary School of Engomi and the Sklavenitis Supermarket, while to the northwest there are empty plots.

On the plot where the clinic will be built, there are olive trees, shrubs and acacias, which will be uprooted, while the olive trees will be transplanted to the adjacent plots.
