A total of 26 key projects with budgets amounting to €1.14 billion (€1,140,991,525) have been included in the 2026 state budget.
Among the main projects, the New Cyprus Museum, the "KtiZO" housing project, the construction of roads and highways of key importance (Paphos - Polis Chrysochous road - Phase A, Astromeritis - Evrychou highway, Nicosia - Paleochori - Agros road, the upgrade of Tseri Avenue), the central offices of the Department of Lands and Surveys and the creation of a heliport in the Solea - Marathasa Area stand out.
The indicative table below of the main infrastructure projects foreseen in the 2026 state budget presents some important infrastructure projects, according to their total cost (including VAT), and which are either in progress or are scheduled to start within 2026.
It is clarified that the list below does not include co-financed projects , or projects that are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan , while for the projects in the list, appropriations are included in the 2026 budget and the Medium-Term Financial Framework (MTFF) 2026-2028.
