Elena Grigorian, CEO of MY.GAMES and a veteran of the gaming industry for over 20 years, including eight years leading Disney’s video games unit, shared her experiences at INSPIRE 2025 on The Global Entrepreneur Stage, during the panel Technology Entrepreneurs: Turning Cyprus into a Global Technology and Innovation Hub.
Grigorian, who has been on MY.GAMES’ board since its foundation as Chief Marketing Officer, emphasised the importance of unity and collaboration, “It’s great to have different approaches to one goal. We had to connect different strategies and approaches, collaborate, and unite all the people — that’s why we rebranded six years ago.”
She highlighted the significance of company culture, “It’s so important for employees to feel they belong to one company. Growing the company both internally and externally was a critical step. We now know for sure who we are, and that clarity has been invaluable.”
Discussing Cyprus specifically, Grigorian praised the local industry and professional community, “The gaming industry in Cyprus is growing rapidly. The community here, along with all the initiatives and changes, has helped create a unique environment. Professionals and entrepreneurs live and work together, supporting one another. Sharing experiences and growing collectively is essential — this concentration of talent is incredibly important.”
Her remarks underscore how strategic collaboration, a strong sense of identity, and an engaged community are central to building successful businesses — both in Cyprus and globally.
