Over 100,000 sports fan cards, a prerequisite for going to matches, have been issued the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO) said in a press release, of which about 90,000 were issued using the Digital Citizen application.
CSO noted that many sports fan cards had expired on 31 May and added that the number issued so far is satisfactory.
It further recalled that in cooperation with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and all relevant stakeholders, it has announced alternative ways of issuing a sports fan card for pensioners, following a request by the teams, adding that its aim is to make things easier for the public without risking their safety.
