Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker’s official visit to Cyprus in underway.
In the morning of Friday, 22 August, President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides will meet with Chancellor Stocker, having welcomed him during an a dinner in the Chancellor's honour at the Presidential Palace on the evening of 21 August.
The two leaders will hold a private meeting, followed by expanded talks between the Cypriot and Austrian delegations.
They will then make statements to the media.
President Christodoulides and Chancellor Stocker will then go to the Nicosia Town Hall, from where they will walk along the ceasefire line.
The Chancellor is also to visit the House of Representatives for a meeting with House President, Annita Demetriou.
Later on, the President will host a working lunch for the Chancellor and members of his delegation, after which the delegation will depart from Cyprus.
