Bank of Cyprus joins TechIsland Donor Network

TechIsland has announced its new collaboration with Bank of Cyprus, which is joining the organisation’s network of Donors.

"This support marks another significant step in strengthening Cyprus’ technology ecosystem, with the contribution of an institutional organisation that has consistently invested in the country’s sustainable progress and economic prosperity," a relevent press release notes

"As the largest financial institution in the country, Bank of Cyprus is a key pillar of economic development. With a steadfast commitment to supporting initiatives that foster the prosperity and advancement of Cypriot society, the Bank strategically invests in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the nation’s human capital. Its participation in TechIsland is a natural continuation of this strategy," it continues.

Vasilis Ketttis, Manager, International Business Unit (IBU) Tech Hub, stated, “Technology is now one of the fastest-growing sectors of the Cypriot economy.
