Wizz Air announces new route from Paphos to Warsaw

Wizz Air has announced the launch of two new direct routes from Paphos to Warsaw Modlin Airport, expanding its growing network in Cyprus.

Starting 2 December 2025, just in time for the festive season, passengers will be able to travel directly from Paphos to the heart of Poland’s capital region. Tickets are now available for booking at wizzair.com and on the WIZZ mobile app.

This new connection coincides with the opening of Wizz Air’s new base at Warsaw Modlin Airport this Friday, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to strengthening its presence in both Cyprus and Greece, with the airline announcing flights from Warsaw Modlin to Athens too, while offering affordable and convenient travel options across Europe.

Winter is one of the most enchanting times to visit Warsaw, as the city comes alive with Christmas markets, festive lights, and a cosy, celebratory atmosphere. From the beautifully restored Old Town -a UNESCO World Heritage Site- to world-class museums, a vibrant food scene, and historic landmarks like Sigismund’s Column, Warsaw is a dynamic European city that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. It's the ideal destination for a magical winter escape or a culture-filled weekend getaway.

Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: “We are thrilled to launch another exciting route from Paphos and Athens, this time connecting travellers to the vibrant city of Warsaw. With this new addition, we continue to expand our network and reaffirm our commitment to offering more travel opportunities from Cyprus and Greece. Warsaw combines rich history, a dynamic urban vibe, and endless experiences – we can’t wait to welcome even more travellers on board.”
