CyBC and CYENS Centre of Excellence sign MoU

The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) and the CYENS Centre of Excellence have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote education, research, and cultural innovation using AI and CyBC’s “Digital Herodotus” archive.

The MoU was signed be Professor Yiorgos Chrysanthou and Andreas Panayides from CYENS.

The first task will be to subtitle the Cypriot dialect into Modern Greek.

CYENS Centre of Excellence is a research and innovation centre specialising in interactive media, smart systems, and emerging technologies. CYENS is the only organisation in Cyprus focusing on immersive technologies working towards empowering knowledge, and technology transfer in the region.
