COO of US tech giant Tenstorrent visits CL8 in Limassol

Keith Witek, Chief Operating Officer of Tenstorrent Inc., visited CL8’s Tier III-certified data center in Limassol for a tour, followed by an in-depth discussion on artificial intelligence, Cyprus’s growing role as a technology hub, and the future of data infrastructure.

Witek was accompanied by Demetris Skourides, Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus. The delegation was welcomed by Peter G. Economides, Founder, Chairman & CEO of CL8, together with senior members of the CL8 team. The visit formed part of an ongoing dialogue around positioning Cyprus as a competitive location for high-tech investments and innovation.

Its operations span from the development of processors, chips, servers, and supporting software used in data centers, edge computing, and enterprise systems. The discussion at CL8 highlighted the infrastructure requirements of emerging technologies, as well as the strategic importance of regional data centers in supporting AI workloads, digital resilience, and innovation ecosystems.
