RIF announces new call for proposals under €1m VISION ERC funding programme

The Research and Innovation Foundation has announced the new Call for Proposals VISION ERC/0525 under the €1m "VISION ERC" Programme.

The objective is to support research excellence through national funding, aiming to prepare for participation in future European Research Council (ERC) Calls under the Horizon Europe Programme.

With a total budget of €1m, the maximum funding per project has been set at €100,000.

Horizon Europe is a seven-year EU scientific research initiative “to help develop a sustainable and livable society in Europe”. It is the ninth of the Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development (FP9), and the successor of the Horizon 2020 programme (FP8). The European Commission drafted and approved a plan for Horizon Europe to raise EU science spending levels by 50% over the years 2021–2027.
