Services turnover records strong growth in 2024

The Services Turnover Index recorded significant growth in both the fourth quarter and the full year of 2024, according to data released by Cystat.

On an annual basis, for the period January - December 2024, turnover increased notably in administrative and support services (8.9%) and in accommodation and food services (8.2%). Strong gains were also recorded in information and communication technologies (ICT) (8.0%), real estate activities (6.5%), and professional, scientific, and technical activities (2.5%).

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Services Turnover Index showed year-on-year growth across key sectors. The highest increase was recorded in accommodation and food services (8.9%), followed by administrative and support activities (7.0%), ICT (6.5%), real estate management (5.0%), and professional, scientific, and technical services (3.7%).
