George A. Pantelides the sole candidate for OEB’s presidency as nomination deadline expires

The most likely scenario, suggesting that George A. Pantelides, Head Partner of Deloitte Cyprus' Consultative Businesses, as well as the Chief Strategy Officer of the Firm, would be the sole candidate for the presidency of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) at the upcoming Annual General Assembly on 7 May, has prevailed with the completion of the nomination process.

As previously reported on InBusinessNews, Pantelides’ was the only nominee on the table when the deadline to submit candidacies expired today, 14 March, at noon.

Following this development, Pantelides is set to become the next president of OEB for the next two years. He will officially assume his duties in May, when the electoral general assembly takes place.

Pantelides succeeds Antonis Antoniou, who led the Federation for the past four years. Due to a statutory restriction, Antoniou was not eligible to seek re-election.
