Anymaster: The startup backed by Lamda Development expands to Athens

Anymaster, a rapidly growing service marketplace that connects clients with local service providers, has successfully raised €350,000 in funding and announced its launch in Athens.

Already operating in four major cities in Cyprus, Anymaster is poised to transform Greece’s service industry with a platform that emphasises transparency, efficiency, and security for both clients and service professionals, it said in a press release.

The platform enables clients to find trusted professionals such as plumbers, electricians, or other skilled workers in a matter of seconds, ensuring a fast and stress-free experience. At the same time, service providers benefit from tools that streamline their operations, automate payments, and handle invoicing. The result is improved service quality and satisfaction across the board, the company said.

"Anymaster provides tailored solutions to meet the needs of both clients and service providers, creating a win-win ecosystem. Service professionals can focus on their craft while the platform takes care of administrative tasks like payment processing and scheduling, enabling them to grow their businesses effortlessly," it added.

By entering Greece, Anymaster says it aims to enhance the quality of local services with increased transparency, secure payments, and unmatched efficiency. "Connecting clients with reputable professionals in record time, Anymaster is set to become a game-changer in the Greek service marketplace."

Partnerships with leading DIY stores

Anymaster’s business model also includes strategic collaborations with major DIY and home maintenance retailers. The company is the official partner of leading chains in Cyprus, such as Superhome, Mangas, and Bricolage. Through customised software, Anymaster enables these retailers to outsource key after-sales services, including bulky deliveries, assemblies, and installations.

Previously, delivery and assembly times averaged 7–10 days. With Anymaster’s innovative approach, these services are now completed within just one day. As Anymaster expands in Greece, it aims to bring this same level of efficiency by forming partnerships with local DIY and furniture stores.

Key investment partners: Lamda Development and Oxean

The recent €350,000 fundraising round was led by Oxean, a family office based in Cyprus, and supported by a diverse network of investors. Among the most notable is Lamda Development, one of Greece’s leading real estate developers, best known for the landmark Ellinikon project, the largest residential development in Europe. Lamda’s backing highlights the confidence in Anymaster’s potential to revolutionise Greece’s service industry.

Additionally, angel investors from Greece, including members of Theti Club, have also contributed. This financial support ensures that Anymaster is well-positioned for a successful launch in Athens, it said.

Anymaster’s vision for Greece

Anymaster is excited to introduce its platform in Athens and is committed to delivering the highest level of service quality and efficiency. Leveraging advanced technology and local expertise, the company aims to improve daily life for homeowners and service providers alike.

“We are thrilled to bring Anymaster to Athens and expand our footprint in the Greek market. Our platform will deliver significant benefits for both clients and service professionals. With our exceptional team, top-tier investors, and strong local partnerships, we are ready to redefine Greece’s service industry,” said Diana Verkhoturova, Founder of Anymaster.
