Cyprus mission in Mumbai holds inaugural event

An inaugural event was held by the Republic of Cyprus mission in Mumbai, themed ‘The Cyprus-India Experience: Perspectives,' which was spearheaded by Viraj Kulkarni, an entrepreneur and governance consultancy expert of global repute.

Kulkarni’s leadership as Honorary Consul is expected to accelerate progress in fostering stronger ties between Cyprus and India, particularly in tourism and trade.

The initiative signals a new chapter in an already enduring partnership. India and Cyprus established diplomatic relations in 1962 and over the years, the bond between the two countries has grown, rooted in shared respect and cooperative efforts, especially in trade and commerce, with much more room for expansion.
