Cyprus-based ASBIS achieves record March revenues

Cyprus-based ASBISc Enterprises Plc said March 2023 has been the best March in the company’s history in terms of monthly sales.

ASBIS said it had consolidated revenues of $269 million in March 2023, based on preliminary estimates, compared with $209m in the same month of 2022 (up 29%). In comparison to February, the company’s revenue is estimated to be up 17%.

Costas Tziamalis, Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “Our very high March revenues prove that the ASBIS strategy is right and its implementation is proceeding according to plan. Of course, March 2022 was the first month of the war in Ukraine, so last year's revenues were relatively low, but this year we not only topped that base, but also generated a record monthly revenue ever achieved in March. It is a great success that we are very happy about. So we continue our activities. We have a clear goal ahead of us, i.e. the implementation of an ambitious forecast for 2023.”

Costas Tziamalis added: “When it comes to our sales in March 2023, Kazakhstan was the clear leader in sales, followed by Ukraine, Slovakia and UAE. Ukraine recorded the largest increase in sales, but this is due to the very low comparison base last year. Poland also did very well in March, increasing sales compared to March 2022. The best-selling product categories in March were: smartphones, processors and laptops.”
