RSM Cyprus is successfully certified with ISO/IEC 27001:2013

BSI, an internationally recognised and experienced independent assessor of best practices, certified RSM Cyprus with the ISO/IEC 27000:2013 after thoroughly reviewing the policies and procedures it applies to managing its clients' sensitive data.

RSM International started the ISO/IEC 27000:2013 certification process for all its members globally. RSM Cyprus was amongst the firms that embraced this initiative and started the certification procedure with the BSI.

Our goal is to provide our clients with first-tier services with professionalism and integrity. Consequently, we follow the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on procedures, controls, technologies, and people that protect and manage our clients' information via effective risk management.

Together with the Information Security Management System (ISMS), we apply the "CIA" triad that complies with numerous security and information management regulations, including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). "CIA" triad focuses on the following:

  1. Confidentiality: Information is protected against unauthorised access.
  2. Integrity: Information is verified and protected for its accuracy and completeness.
  3. Availability: A business continuity plan is implemented and tested to ensure that the availability of information is accessible when needed.

Having obtained the accreditation of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 demonstrates once more our commitment towards our clients. In a world where cyberattacks are getting stronger, and information security is among the top priorities in an organisation, we have the best practices and qualified controls in place to safeguard them.

"As a member firm of RSM International, the 6th largest network of assurance, tax and consulting services worldwide, RSM Cyprus will continue to enrich its resources and adopt the best practices for information security protection. We want our clients to feel safe. Therefore, we follow policies and procedures that effectively decrease operational risks while promoting trust in our relationships with our selective clientele ", said Mr George Themistocleous, Managing Partner, CEO of RSM Cyprus.
