A new era begins for M&S in Acropolis

A new era has begun for Marks & Spencer in Acropolis with the emblematic three-story building given a renewed, ecological, and ultra-modern look.

Responding to the modern needs of consumers, and reverently adhering to its plan for expansion, development and adaptation as the times dictate, parent company Voici La Mode (VLM), proceeded with the renovation and upgrade of the M&S store in Acropolis, which has been leading the way since 1995. At the same time, the company remains faithful to the environmental principles it advocates, while maintaining its timeless values ​​of high quality and service, a press release said.

Embracing RES (Renewable Energy Sources)

The upgrade to the Voici La Mode Group does not only touch on aesthetics, but also on the technological side, with the use of Renewable Energy Sources.

Saving energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions as defined in the Europe Net Zero Plan are among the main goals of the Group, through its energy upgrade plan. It has already proceeded to replace LED lamps in all its stores, installing photovoltaic systems and upgrading its mechanical facilities.

For M&S in Acropolis speceficlaly, among the main changes and upgrades that the Group has undertaken, include, among others, the installation of photovoltaic panels and the thermal facade system. There are also new renovated showcases with special lighting and the facade completed by the state-of-the-art video walls that will be installed.

The VLM Group

For over 65 years, the Voici La Mode Group has been active in the retail fashion and catering sectors in Cyprus and Romania. It has 30 points of sale and represents, in addition to Marks & Spencer, the brands: Celio, Sfera, Etam, Undiz and Accessorize, the Café La Mode chain of cafes. It also owns the exclusive representation of Marks & Spencer in the Romanian market.
