The tapping of the first beer keg on the evening of Monday, 5 October, signalled the start of Oktoberfest at City of Dreams Mediterranean, as the popular celebration returns for the third consecutive year, firmly establishing itself as an annual highlight on the resort’s rich entertainment calendar.
From Friday, 9 to Sunday, 11 October, guests are invited to come together and embrace the unmistakable spirit of Bavaria, with three days of authentic German flavours, finely brewed beers and live entertainment in the heart of Limassol.
The ceremonial keg tapping by the President of the Cyprus Germany Business Association Christian Gihr, and Property General Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean, Grant Johnson, set the tone for this year’s festivities, continuing a tradition that has become synonymous with the resort’s Oktoberfest celebrations.
Throughout the three-day event, guests can enjoy a wide selection of finely brewed beers alongside a specially curated menu showcasing some of Bavaria’s best-loved specialities. From freshly baked pretzels and hearty pork schnitzel to traditional würstl and other German classics, the menu promises an authentic taste of Oktoberfest.
The famous Die Kirchdorfer® band will once again deliver their signature energy and authentic Oktoberfest spirit to the integrated resort. Their extensive repertoire spans international pop and rock hits alongside German party tunes, promising plenty of opportunities for guests to dance and sing along.
Combining authentic German cuisine, great beer and vibrant live entertainment, Oktoberfest at City of Dreams Mediterranean has grown into a much-anticipated annual celebration, bringing a taste of Bavaria to Cyprus each autumn.
