Credit Risk Management Conference 2026: The key themes shaping the future

For the third consecutive year, ICAP CRIF, a member of the CRIF S.p.A. Group, and Artemis Credit Bureau are organising the leading annual conference on credit risk, sustainability and financial resilience.

The Credit Risk Management Conference 2026 will take place on 12 October 2026 at The Landmark Nicosia hotel, under the auspices of the Association of Cyprus Banks. The conference will bring together senior executives from banks, businesses and organisations that are shaping market developments.

Following the success of the two previous events, this year’s conference will focus on three pillars that directly affect how organisations operate: Data, Credit Risk and Sustainability. Through presentations, panel discussions and debates, participants will gain practical insights into the developments influencing financing decisions, risk management and business growth strategies.

Key Themes

The conference programme will explore how data analytics, advanced assessment models and automation are transforming modern credit risk management. It will also present the findings of a survey on the credit risk management practices adopted by Cypriot businesses.

Particular emphasis will be placed on new international regulatory requirements and ESG disclosure standards, as well as on how environmental, social and corporate governance criteria are increasingly being incorporated into financing and business-assessment decisions.

The conference will also examine the impact of macroeconomic and geopolitical developments on risk assessment, emerging trends across individual sectors of the economy, and the opportunities offered by data and artificial intelligence to strengthen financial resilience and support informed decision-making.

Who Should Attend

The conference is addressed to CEOs, Managing Directors and General Managers, Chief Risk Officers, CFOs, credit risk and financial management executives, ESG and sustainability officers, Compliance Officers, Chief Data Officers, Chief Information Officers, digital transformation executives, data analysts, and professionals working in risk management, banking and financial services.
