DP World Limassol has successfully completed a two-month internship programme for local undergraduate students pursuing studies in maritime and related fields, nurturing the next generation of industry professionals by hands-on learning and practical experience.
For the sixth consecutive year, the programme offered the opportunity to four undergraduate students to work alongside DP World Limassol’s teams and contribute to various projects while gaining valuable insights into port operations. The company welcomed Elpida Markou and Styliana Efstathiou from the Cyprus University of Technology, and Agathoklis Antoniou and Charis Nikolaou from Frederick University, who over the course of two months, strengthened their technical knowledge while developing a deeper understanding of the maritime sector.
DP World Limassol supports the local education sector and contributes to the development of a sustainable talent pipeline for the local maritime industry through this programme. Since its launch in 2020, the programme has welcomed more than 30 students, with 10 joining as staff members across various departments at DP World Limassol.

The application process for the internship programme begins in April, with results announced in mid-May. Priority is given to undergraduate students from universities that collaborate with DP World Limassol, but other applicants are welcome to apply by sending their CV and a cover letter to careers@dpworldlimassol.com
