Cyprus allocates €1.7m in grants for 2027 for overseas trade fair participation

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry is promoting participation in overseas trade fairs with the aim of strengthening the international presence of Cypriot businesses involved in the production and marketing of products, helping them enter international markets and increase their exports.

The Ministry has announced that applications have opened for the De Minimis State Aid Scheme, which supports Cypriot businesses taking part in overseas trade fairs where Cyprus participates with a national pavilion.

The budget for the scheme is €1.7 million for 2027.

Businesses operating in the manufacturing and/or marketing of industrial and agricultural products, as well as businesses providing related services, are eligible to apply.

The overall aim is to strengthen the international presence of Cypriot businesses involved in the production and marketing of products, facilitate their access to international markets and increase their exports, the Ministry said.

The scheme covers participation in the Fruit Logistica exhibition taking place in Berlin between 3-5 February 2027, in PROWEIN in Düsseldorf, 7-9 March 2027, GULFOOD - Dubai, UAE, 15-19 March 2027, and ANUGA in Cologne, organised between 9-13 October 2027.
