Cyprus, Greece and Jordan signed the renewal of their Trilateral Defence Cooperation Programme (TDCP) at the Headquarters of the General Staff of the Cyprus National Guard, according to a statement issued by the General Staff on Monday.
The agreement is part of efforts to further strengthen defence cooperation among the three countries and deepen their relations in the fields of security and defence, the statement said.
The renewal of the TDCP provides for the continuation and further development of cooperation among the armed forces of the three countries, based on the existing framework for cooperation, it added.
The signing of the programme marks a continuation of the trilateral cooperation between Cyprus, Greece and Jordan in the defence sector and strengthens coordination and joint activities among the three countries, the statement concluded.
