Andreas Neocleous is set to join PwC Cyprus in what is considered to be a significant boost for the organisation.
According to information obtained by InBusinessNews, the former CEO of Cyta is joining the organisation's Advisory Services Department.
With his many years of experience in the telecommunications industry and technological transformation, Neocleous is anticipated to significantly strengthen the organisation in the technology sector.
InBusinessNews contacted both PwC Cyprus and Andreas Neocleous, who, however, did not want to make any statement on the matter.
This move by PwC Cyprus is one of the first significant actions undertaken by its new leadership. According to information, a major goal of the new CEO of PwC Cyprus, Andreas Yiasemides, is to strengthen services to clients and accelerate the digital transformation of businesses in Cyprus.
It is recalled that Cyta in September 2025 announced Andreas Neocleous was leaving the position of Chief Executive Officer. He subsequently relocated to Saudi Arabia to take up the position of Partner at EY Technology Consulting, in Riyadh.
Andreas Neocleous' presence at the helm of Cyta is linked with the overall acceleration of the country's digital transformation.
He was the first CEO of Cyta, the largest telecommunications organization in Cyprus, to be appointed from the private sector.
Neocleous assumed his duties in January 2019, redefining the vision of the organisation and setting it on a path of growth and dynamic evolution, which has since led to a significant increase in revenue and profitability.
During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer, Neocleous made a catalytic contribution to Cyta's dynamic and successful development path. This path that was combined with an increase in its profitability, a strengthening of its customer base and an increase in its technological and commercial value.
The organisation implemented major internal transformation projects (such as, among others, the new Personnel Performance Management System and the new Promotion System), making it a pioneer in the broader public sector.
Before taking up his duties at Cyta, he served, among others, as Business Operations and Customer Experience Manager at MTN Cyprus, Commercial Director at Ericsson, and Senior Technology Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London and New York.
