The company chose to create a presence on the island for main three reasons, Ilya Aristov, the Managing Director of DataArt Cyprus reveals.
DataArt is a global IT tech company with more than 30 locations globally.
In a video interview as part of Invest Cyprus’ ‘Prosper in Cyprus’ YouTube series, Aristov reveals that the first reason was the simplicity in relocating personnel, noting, “During the whole process there
was no setback or issue with the people relocation. It was very easy to open a new entity, a very friendly, clear understanding of laws, taxation etc.”
He continues that the second reason was the ease in achieving business development and doing business on the island, underlining, “Cyprus is not only a good technology hub, but it is also a very nice location, a very good spot for serving your clients in the MENA region, in the European Union, and even the UK.”
He continued that the amount of flights and easy air connections made it “no problem at all for the business development people to do their job.”
The quality of life Cyprus offers families is the third main reason Cyprus is a good choice, Aristov continues, emphasising the island’s safe and friendly environment and lifestyle, especially in the summer, mean he and his own family are “happy being here.”
