The annual Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards, presented by PwC Cyprus and hosted by GOLD, were held as a tribute to foreign investors whose trust, vision and enduring commitment to the island have helped establish the country as a vibrant hub of economic and entrepreneurial talent where prosperity can flourish.
This year’s awards ceremony took place at the Hilton Nicosia, under the auspices of President Nikos Christodoulides, and was attended by more than 300 foreign investors, business leaders and dignitaries. As the world becomes increasingly unsettled by geopolitical clashes, economic turbulence and rapid change, investors seek not just profit but partnership – an ecosystem that balances opportunity with stability. This year’s seven award recipients also reflect the breadth of today’s investment landscape. Together, they represent sectors that have long been pillars of the Cypriot economy – shipping, hospitality, energy and financial services – as well as newer industries such as video games and defence technology. It is a combination that demonstrates how Cyprus continues to diversify its economy by building on the strengths that have underpinned its success for decades, while creating new opportunities for innovation, high-value employment and sustainable economic growth. The Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards are a reminder that Cyprus is a country of strategic foresight, economic resilience and fertile ground for business. At the ceremony, presented by journalist Emilia Papadopoulos, seven companies were honoured:
