Niels Hartmann, CEO of Hartmann Group, spoke about the company’s strategic move to Cyprus, recognising the island’s position as one of Europe’s and the world’s leading shipping hubs, following its distinction at the 14th International Investment Awards organized by Invest Cyprus.
As one of this year’s award recipients, Hartmann highlighted that the company’s entry into the Cypriot shipping market has been extremely positive, describing Cyprus as a safe, stable, and internationally respected maritime centre with a supportive regulatory framework.
In an interview, Hartmann reflects on what it means for an international company to begin a new chapter in Cyprus and contribute to the growth of the local shipping ecosystem. He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuing its contribution to the market by creating meaningful opportunities not only for its partners, but also for its people, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the experience and support provided to shipowners and maritime service providers.
