Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the regulatory compliance sector, offering new tools that enhance efficiency and process monitoring.
As Yury Anesyants, Director of Compliance at Freedom24, notes, the use of specialised AI solutions now allows the automation of important functions, from data management and compliance control to supporting departments such as anti-money laundering and marketing.
Despite the significant benefits, he stresses that AI cannot yet operate without human supervision, as consistency and reliability of results are still a challenge. He also underlines that the increasing use of technology has not necessarily reduced the workload, but has created new and more complex requirements.
Referring to future developments, Anesyants notes that the industry is in a period of significant change, with new regulations and additional requirements, while at the same time there is a trend towards reviewing the scope and complexity of existing compliance frameworks.
