The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) has announced the integration of the Cyprus International Business Association (CIBA) into its force, in a move it describes as further strengthening the collective representation of the business world at a national level.
CIBA represents the international business community operating in Cyprus and plays an active role in promoting and safeguarding the sector's interests.
CIBA member companies operate, indicatively, in the following sectors:
- International business services and headquarters activities
- Financial, accounting, legal and tax services
- Shipping and shipping services
- Technology, ICT, software and digital services
- Investments and fund management
- Support services for international corporate structures (Corporate Services)
- Research, innovation and consulting services
The inclusion of CIBA in the CCCI strengthens the collective representation of businesses and contributes to the formation of an even stronger framework for dialogue and cooperation with the competent policy-making bodies, CCCI's announcement said.
The integration was sealed in the context of a welcome meeting held under the auspices of the CCCI, in the presence of representatives of the two organisations.
The CCCI welcomes CIBA to its strength and looks forward to a constructive collaboration for the benefit of the business community.
