The global debate around longevity, health and quality of life is gaining new momentum as science, technology and investment converge to redefine the boundaries of human life. In this context, Cyprus is preparing to host one of the most important international events in the field, strengthening its position as a hub of innovation and scientific progress in the region.
In a few days, on 27 and 28 April, 2026, the first Cyprus EMEA Healthspan Summit, entitled ‘Innovating Life: Shaping the Future of Longevity’ will take place at Parklane Resort & Spa in Limassol. The event is led by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and brings together leading scientists, researchers, investors and policymakers from across the EMEA region.
The conference with, the MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture as Main Partner and Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol as Hospitality Partner, begins with the official opening ceremony and the President's address, setting the tone for a two-day in-depth analysis of the developments shaping the future of human longevity. Keynote speeches will feature figures such as Dr. Vittorio Sebastiano, Dr. Michael Ringel and Dr. Aubrey de Grey and present the latest developments in cellular rejuvenation and technologies that attempt to slow down or even reverse biological aging. At the same time , Prof. Nicola Palmarini will highlight the social and political dimensions of a new era where lifespan is being redefined.
Speakers such as Dr. Karine Sargsyan, Prof. Pavalkis Dainius and Dr. Zisis Kozlakidis will talk about the role of technology and artificial intelligence, analysing how digital data, biobanks and “digital "twins " are transforming medical research and clinical practice.
In the same context, important interventions will be made by international personalities such as Matteo Renzi, Dr. Armen Sarkissian and Dr. João Breda, who will discuss the geopolitical and economic implications of longevity, as well as the challenges that states and health systems face in a multigenerational society.
