Aegean: Cancels flights to and from Middle Eastern airports until 10 March

Aegean is canceling a total of 68 flights from today until 10 March to and from airports in Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, due to ongoing developments in the Middle East. It is worth noting that some of the flights are to and from Cyprus. 

More specifically, as stated on its website, these are the following flights:

  • Flights to and from Dubai and Abu Dhabi are cancelled until the evening of 6 March, 2026
  • Flights to and from Jeddah and Riyadh are cancelled until the early hours of 7 March, 2026
  • Flights to and from Tel Aviv are canceled until the early hours of 10 March, 2026
  • Flights to and from Beirut are canceled until the early hours of 10 March, 2026
  • Flights to Erbil and Baghdad are canceled until the early hours of 10 March, 2026

Passengers who have tickets for the canceled flights will receive a message from the company or the respective travel agencies through which they purchased their tickets, informing them that they are offered the option of a refund or credit voucher for future use, as well as changing their travel date at no cost.

Furthermore, AEGEAN informs that, with the aim of facilitating passengers who have tickets to and from Tel Aviv, Erbil, Baghdad, Beirut, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and additionally Riyadh and Jeddah for flights with scheduled departures up to March 16, 2026, it provides, if they so wish, the possibility of modifying flights either by free reissue and change of tickets, at no additional cost, for new trips with a departure date up to March 31, 2026, or by canceling the reservation and issuing a credit voucher for future use.
